 Rancho Mirage Cultural Commission will present a free music and dance performance event at The River featuring the music and dance of Mexico. This under the stars family event will showcase Mariachi Los Palmeros, a seven member Coachella Valley troupe that will perform a spectrum of authentic south-of-the-border styles from rancheras to boleros.
Joining the mariachis on stage at the Amphitheater at The River will be a ballet folklorico ensemble performing the traditional dances of Mexico.
Cultural Commissioner, Robert Walker stated, "Mariachi Los Palmeros thrills audiences with their joyful and exhuberant musical expression of Mexican culture and Ballet Folkloric's swilling rainbow of dance. Everyone will leave the concert with a happy heart."
All Cultural Festival events are free. Seating for some of the events will be limited so patrons are encourage to arrive early to ensure seating which will be available on a first come first served basis. Advance reserved seating will not be offered.
