Celebrating Santa Barbara's Old Spanish Days Fiesta, the West Coast Symphony Orchestra presents its 45th annual free Fiesta Concert at 3:30pm Sunday, August 3rd at the historic Santa Barbara County Courthouse Sunken Gardens in downtown Santa Barbara. Under the direction of Founder/Conductor Christopher Story VI and Associate Conductor Dr. Michael Shasberger, the concert will feature music for strings and soloists with a Spanish flair, including the Concerto for Harpsichord, flute, oboe, clarinet, violin and cello by Manuel De Falla, with harpsichordist Frank Basile, and Vivaldi's Guitar (Lute) Concerto in D with soloist Taso Comanescu. The concert will also include music from Bizet's Carmen and L'Arlessiene Suites, tangos and more.
