The Los Angeles Youth Orchestra presents the 2nd of our Spring 2024 Concerts titled "A Pastoral Celebration" on Monday, April 15 at 7:30pm at Ambassador Auditorium in Pasadena.
The Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Russell Steinberg, will perform Beethoven's Symphony No. 6 in F Major (The “Pastoral” Symphony)nd the World Premiere of Russell Steinberg's Cirrus Nimbus.
The Ruth Borun Concert Orchestra, conducted by Jorge Padrón, will perform the First and Fourth Movements of Haydn's London Symphony (No. 104), Bartok's Pieces for Children, and Brahm's Hungarian Dance No. 2.
Founded in 1999, the Los Angeles Youth Orchestra (LAYO) serves over 120 student musicians each year, ranging in age from 8-18 and hailing from 70 different schools throughout the greater Los Angeles area.
Tickets: $30 adults, $10 children (18 and under)
