Exciting free concert for children/adults of all ages!
In under an hour, you will be beguiled by the music of Harry Potter, two young Claremont Youth Symphony soloists, the beautifully melodic first movement of Schubert's "Unfinished Symphony," and Maestro Robert Sage's lesson on how to recognize the structure of some classical symphony movements.
CYSO members Anselm Knecht (CYSO principal cello) and Jo Ann Sun (CYSO violinist and Associate Concertmaster) won the Concerto Competition last year and play beautifully. Anselm is a freshman at Redlands High School and Jo Ann is a junior at Walnut High School. There will also be a "try to play a violin" table in the lobby where we will have four sizes of violins for children of all ages.
