 L. A. Philharmonic cellist David Garrett and Occidental faculty pianist Junko Ueno Garrett perform Schumann Fantasy Pieces, Op. 73 and Mendelssohn Sonata No. 2, Op. 58 on the Third@First series at First United Methodist Church of Pasadena.

The new year’s first concert in the Third@First Concert Series will be offered by First United Methodist Church on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at 4 p.m., using the church’s YouTube channel listed above. Featured is the Belrose Duo – cellist David Garrett and series coordinator, pianist Junko Ueno Garrett. Their program includes the Fantasy Pieces, opus 73, of Robert Schumann and Felix Mendelssohn’s Sonata No. 2 in D, opus 58.
Third@First concerts are presented by First United Methodist Church free of charge on the third Saturday of each month. During the current pandemic, the programs are held online (no in-person audience) using the church’s YouTube channel (URL above).
