SHARING LIGHT: A CONCERT OF PEACE, HOPE, AND CONNECTION!
Is the barrage of bad news getting you down? Are there challenging, difficult situations you’re attempting to cope with in your own life?
Music can help. Studies have proven that music enhances both physical and mental health.
If a dose of glorious, luminous choral music spanning the centuries sounds like just what the doctor ordered, join Artes Vocales on NOVEMBER 22 when we present
SHARING LIGHT: A CONCERT OF PEACE, HOPE, AND CONNECTION!
Works showcasing The Light on the program include two settings of O, Nata Lux de Lumine (Thomas Tallis, Morten Lauridsen), Lux Aurumque (Eric Whitacre), and Let There Be Light (Haydn), among many others.
Artes Vocales will also partner with the klezmer/rock band Mostly Kosher for this performance. As LA Weekly proclaims, “Mostly Kosher is klezmer music to heal the soul.”
Enough said!
