The Andromeda Electric Orchestra celebrates Black History Month with Master African composers.
AEO celebrates Black History month with a concert of master composers. The Andromeda Electric Orchestra will be performing the music of Florence Price, Female African American Composer who was one of the first women to have her symphony performed by a major orchestra. Our concert will include The Oak and Adoration for Chamber Orchestra. British African composer Samuel Coleridge-Taylor, including his Suite from the Ballet Hiawatha, and the famous Scott Joplin and Symphony No.2 by Joseph Bologne will also be performed. Jimi Hendrix will be featured with Guitar and String Orchestra arrangement of Purple Haze.
