 This three-day interchange of choreographic creation sparks a new future for dance in San Diego. International, national and local artists will present a thrilling range of movement and performance at venues downtown and on campus giving audiences the ability to experience the wonderland of dance.
ArtPower! at UC San Diego, Sushi Contemporary Performance and Visual Arts, and UC San Diego Theatre and Dance Department present Wonderland: A Festival of International Contemporary Dance Experiences.
For three straight days, some of the most elite in contemporary dance will exhibit their skills in performance art as well as showcase their coaching methods in a series of workshops and shows. This is the West Coast international festival of contemporary dance. International, national and local artists from Australia, Tijuana, Canada, New York, Los Angeles and San Diego will present a thrilling range of movements and performances at venues both downtown and on campus at UC San Diego.
Giving audiences the ability to experience the wonderland of dance, this year’s participants include the award-winning ensembles Kate Weare Company, Monica Bill Barnes and Company, Chunky Move, and Lux Boreal Danza Contemporánia.
