Pacific Serenades completes its 27th season with a world premiere for piano & wind quintet by LA-based composer Stephen Cohn. The program, scheduled for June 1, 2 and 4, 2013, will be an inspired mix of music, including Mozart's Quintet for Piano and Winds in Eb major, Sonata for Clarinet and Piano in Eb major by Saint-Saëns, Poulenc’s Trio for Piano, Oboe and Bassoon, and Bellscape, by Cohn.

This marks the 18th season of this diverse transmedia series celebrating electro-acoustic diversity and compositional risk. This year's production tells an allegorical story based on one of the great institutions of Western culture. Set in a local bar, Jonah’s, the characters pass the centuries debating politics, religion, and most of all, the music playing on the juke box! The show promises innovative staging, a vast variety of music, wacky hats and RSVP’s continued dedication to the science of wonder.
