The Addams Family

The Addams FamilyThe Palos Verdes Performing Arts Conservatory will present a student production of the magnificently macabre hit Broadway musical comedy.  The ghoulish world of Gomez, Morticia, Uncle Fester, Grandma, Wednesday, Pugsley and, of course, Lurch  from the 1960 television series come to spooky and spectacular to life on stage, with an all-new story and show-stopping musical numbers.

The Addams family is in turmoil. Their daughter Wednesday, now 18, finds herself falling in love—a sensation that is unsettling for both her and her family of endearing misfits. When the teen invites her new boyfriend, Lucas Beineke, over with his “normal” family to get better acquainted with the Addams household, comic chaos ensues.

“The Addams Family” was created by “Jersey Boys” authors Marshall Brickman & Rick Elice, Drama Desk-winning composer/lyricist Andrew Lippa (“The Wild Party”).

The production features a cast of 27 talented students from the highly-acclaimed youth theatre program, The Palos Verdes Performing Arts Conservatory. It is directed by Kimberly Woods, with choreography by Niko Montelibano, and vocal direction by Sean Bart.
