Sundays Live presents FREE weekly classical chamber music concerts and recitals by premier professional artists from Southern California and around the world. These one-hour concerts are presented free to the public at 6:00PM on Sundays in the Leo S. Bing Theater of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.

Concerts begin promptly at 6PM. Latecomers will be seated at the discretion of house staff.

January 8: Pianist Joel Fan performs works by Scriabin, Bolcom, Rachmaninoff, and Gershwin
January 15: Members of the Triple Helix Trio perform selections from Beethoven’s Three Trios, Opus 1.
January 22: (Emerging Artists Series) Members of Chamber Ensembles from the Crossroads School perform Beethoven: Violin/Piano Sonata in G major, Opus 30, No. 3, Brahms: Violin Sonata No. 3 in D minor, and Ravel: String Quartet.
January 29: Brasil Guitar Duo – João Luiz and Douglas Lora – perform selections by Rameau, Castelnuovo-Tedesco,Villa-Lobos, and Piazzolla.
February 5: Pianist Bruce Brubaker performs Phillip Glass: Etudes Nos. 4 and 5 and Mad Rush (celebrating Glass’s 75th birthday), Missy Mazzoli: Orrizonte, Nico Muhly: Drones & Piano (California premiere), Meredith Monk: Window in 7’s, and Travel (Railroad) Song, and Schumann: Fantasy Pieces, Opus 111, Nos. 1 and 2.
February 12: The Lincoln Trio: Desirée Ruhstrat (violin), David Cunliffe (cello), and
Marta Aznavoorian (piano) perform works by Beethoven, Lera Auerback, Stacy Garrop, Jennifer Higdon, and Piazzolla.
February 19: Pianist Svetlana Smolina performs Rachmaninoff: Sonata No. 1, Liszt: Liebestraum and Mephisto Waltz No. 1, Chopin: Selections from Preludes, Opus 28, and Tchaikovsky-Pletnev: Concert Suite from The Nutcracker ballet.
February 26: Members of the USC Thornton Guitar Orchestra and Ensembles perform works to be announced.
March 4: Members of the Capiol Ensemble perform Schubert: Quintet in A major, D. 667, “Trout.”
March 11: Pianist Abbey Simon performs Mozart: Sonata in A major, K. 331, Liszt: 3 Petrarch Sonnets, and Chopin: Three Impromptus.
March 18: Members of UCLA Philharmonia perform Britten: Four Sea Interludes from “Peter Grimes” and Elgar: “Enigma” Variations.
This concert is sponsored by a generous grant from the Robert Gore Rifkind Foundation.
March 25: Countertenor Slava Kagan-Paley performs songs and arias to be announced.
