The adventurous gnarwhallaby ensemble uncovers facets of avant-garde expression in contemporary Polish music in works from such visionary composers as Tadeusz Baird, Henryk Mikolaj Górecki, Hanna Kulenty, Krzysztof Meyer, Boguslaw Schaeffer, and Witold Szalonek.
Inspired by the unusual instrumentation of the Polish ‘Warsztat Muzyczny’ ensemble of the 1960s, gnarwhallaby performs repertoire for clarinet, trombone, cello, and piano.
