Macbeth presented by Shakespeare in the Vines

The third production of Shakespeare in the Vine's Fifth Anniversary Season "Marriage, Murder, and Madness" is Shakespeare's Macbeth. Macbeth is the Bard's attempt at the horror play genre.  Director Justin Girard puts this classic in a new setting and script adaptation that fulfills Shakespeare's attempt quite chillingly.

Macbeth is a blast of ghoulish, beguiling, sardonic theatrical terror.  This classic tale of witches, vaulting ambition, and self-inflicted insanity is tipped on its side in the spirit of a modern supernatural horror film. Spy on the Macbeths and Banquo as they battle for control of fate and the spectral forces that push them toward the struggle for power, leading them all to their respective ends.

Bring a picnic dinner, or pre-order one from the winery.  It can get cool in the evenings so a light blanket is suggested.
