LITTLE WOMEN follows the saga of the March sisters—Meg, Jo, Beth and Amy—as they grow up during the Civil War. Jo is trying to sell her stories but publishers are not interested. Her friend, Professor Bhaer, urges her to write more from her heart. Taking his advice, Jo weaves the story of her and her sisters and their experiences into her work. It’s a coming-of-age tale filled with drama, romance, humor, and song, all under the watchful eye of the girls’ beloved Marmee while their father is away at war.The show, which brought Sutton Foster her second Tony nomination, features a stunning score by Grammy Award winner Jason Howland.
