The 29th Anniversary Gala "Fashion Meets the Phil" concert of the Burbank Philharmonic will feature two outstanding soloists, winners of the 2018 Hennings-Fischer Young Artist Competition. Our special guest conductor will be award-winning LA Times columnist Chris Erskine!
Join us for the 29th Anniversary Gala "Fashion Meets the Phil" concert of the Burbank Philharmonic Orchestra on Saturday, February 23 at 8:00pm. This concert will feature award-winning LA Times columnist Chris Erskine as our special guest conductor! The program will showcase Esther Tonea, Soprano, and Alyssa Katahara, harp. Both were winners of the 2018 Hennings-Fischer Young Artist Competition. They will be wearing custom gowns created by fashion design students from Woodbury University. In addition, the program will feature works by Rossini and Beethoven.
