Our Review of the 4th Annual MixMatch Dance Festival

“Generally speaking when you think of dance, Los Angeles doesn’t come to mind as the capital of the dance world. Amada Hart and others are trying to change that.  The 4th Annual MixMatch Dance Festival helped in that effort by bringing numerous styles of dance to the Los Angeles audiences for their enjoyment and delight. Amanda Hart of the Hart Pulse Dance Company organized the event which on the night that I attended included 18 works presented by numerous choreographers and scores of dancers. The diversity of dance styles was exhilarating and kept you in anxious anticipation for what was coming at you next.  Multimedia visuals, a wide range of music along special lighting effects added to the excitement of the evening.  In summary, I will say that I will patiently look forward to the 5th Annual MixMatch Dance Festival next year.” – Performing Arts LIVE
