Duo Pianos – Kohn and Kohn

Karl and Margaret Kohn will perform works for two pianos by Steve Reich, Georgy Ligeti, John Adams and Karl Kohn in this program of 20th-century music. These Pomona College faculty members have had long and illustrious careers as duo-pianists in the United States and Europe.

The program includes:
Steve Reich (piano phase –1967)
Karl Kohn (Dream Pieces – 1983)
Georgy Ligeti (Three Pieces – 1976)
John Adams (Hallelujah Junction – 1998)
