Chronicles Ginger's rise up the ladder of show business to become one of Hollywood's biggest stars. Contains big dance numbers with her partner, Fred Astaire.  This is the West Coast Premiere.

West Coast Premiere.  Details the love/hate relationship between Ginger and her overly protective mother, whom she defied with her boundless ambition and energy to succeed. Her partnership with Fred Astaire made her the darling of the movie musical, but she again defied her mother to star in a non-musical "Kitty Foyle" and won n oscar for it. Features many dance sequences and the music of George Gershwin and Jerome Kern, including "Fascinatin' Rhythm", Embraceable You", and "A Fine romance".
