Performing Arts LIVE is the most comprehensive on line source for information about music, theater, and dance events in Southern California. Performing Arts LIVE event listings include the obvious major venues and productions, as well as events at smaller venues, recital halls, libraries, museums, civic and educational centers. We are particularly excited that we can bring to your attention the opportunity to witness young emerging performing artists across Southern California.
Performing Arts LIVE is a community service founded in 2007. We are passionate about the performing arts and want to help bring performing artists and their audiences together. Our aim is to broaden the demographic profile of those attending performing arts events. We accomplish this by offering free access to both those wishing to promote their events and those seeking to find them. Our efforts have helped increase the visibility and support of the many worthy performing artists and organizations that present them in Southern California. HOW TO USE PERFORMING ARTS LIVE
Visit Performing Arts LIVE when you want to know about Music, Theater and Dance events in Southern California. You will find event listings for the large well known venues as well as the multitude of smaller productions occurring daily in Southern California. On the HOME PAGE you can search for events by category (Music, Theater, Dance and Comedy), by date using the calendar, by geographic region or by keyword. We suggest you use the LOOK FOR EVENTS tab located on the right side of the Home Page. LOOK FOR EVENTS will allow you to focus your search simultaneously on the event category, region, and date(s) that you are seeking event information.
FEATURED EVENTS
FEATURED EVENT listings begin on the center of the HOME PAGE and continue for many pages. Here we identify productions that we believe are exemplary and noteworthy for you to consider. It is often difficult for us to identify all of the events that should be listed here. If you are aware of an event that should be considered for the FEATURED EVENTS section let us know. There is no charge for any of the listings on Performing Arts LIVE.
It is easy to POST AN EVENT on Performing Arts LIVE and it’s free. You have the flexibility to say what you want about the event. You can and should include a photo or image for your event. By becoming a Performing Arts LIVE Artist (no charge for this), recurring information is kept in your profile for future visits and facilitates the input of new events. You are also able to post a single event without becoming a Performing Arts LIVE Artist. After you have submitted an event it will be reviewed and approved. Once the event is approved you will receive a confirming email and your event will be on the website for all to see.
